After 12 years on stage, more than 500 shows and four albums, La P’tite Fumée opens a new chapter with RESET, their fifth album. It marks a fresh start, with a renewed line-up and, for the first time in the band’s history, vocals taking centre stage. Alongside Chand, a long-standing figure of LPF, Noémie brings a new vocal identity to the band, joined by Quentin on guitar, Amaury on drums and Chris on bass. RESET takes the instrumental electronic sound that shaped the band’s identity in a more vocal, melodic and anthemic direction. The album features 14 tracks, including the explosive "CrazyLoco", driven by punk-rock energy and sharp rap flows; the mystical "The Spell", infused with trance and psy-trance influences; the hard-hitting "Blast Off", featuring the band’s signature didgeridoo, soaring guitar solos and a powerful rhythm section; as well as the French-language track "Loin d’Ici", featuring Guiz from Tryo and the sounds of Berber flutes, derbouka and djembe. La P’tite Fumée manages to reinvent itself while retaining the elements that have built its reputation on stage: powerful rhythms, unconventional instruments and raw, organic energy.
